Upcoming CLasses and Workshops

  • January 13 (Monday)  6:30 - 730  Ukulele Class (Class poster link).  Starting January 13th for 8 sessions ending March 10th (skips President's Day (Feb 17)).  Classes will be taught by Kris Pichelman. Classes are FREE, but do require registration (below).  This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.  

  • January 19 (Sunday) Kite Making Class (Class poster Link).  Thanks to a grant from the Greater Lake City Community Foundation, the kite class will return and be free.  The class is FREE, but please register below and request a timeslot.  Time slots are every 15 minutes starting at 1:00.

  • February 1st & 8th (Saturdays) Beginner/Refresher knitting class taught by Bonnie Bakkum.  More info to come.

  • February 9th (Sunday)  1:00  Driftless Water Dance Class/Project - by Espoir Delmain, a recipient of a SEMAC artist grant.  You're invited to join a community-based dance project all about the Driftless region! No dance experience necessary, all ages welcome.  This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.   • February 15th (Saturday) 10 - 3 pm.  Making Monoprints class taught by artist, Stephen McKenzie.   $35 for members, $40 for non-members.  Create black and white designs on t-shirts, canvas totes, pieces of fabric, etc.  You bring the surface and Stephen will teach you the process!  More information to come.
